Belladonna
Belladonna is an ever-evolving artist & teacher. She is a tribal fusion belly dance performer and instructor from Washington DC. Bella is best known for her sword dancing/ balancing, dark and vintage fusion, musical expression, technique and creativity.
Her interest in belly dance was sparked first by a poem she read in 1997, called the Belly Dancer by Diane Wakowski.
Belly dance is powerful, sensual and fun. It has led Bella down many paths, and encouraged her to explore new ventures. Belladonna’s education is in art, expression and belly dance has helped her grow and evolve into an internationally recognized performance artist and teacher. She is also a community event organizer, show producer, and troupe director.
Belladonna is the co-producer and co-director of the Belly Horror Show and festival, and the monthly DCtribla cafe.

Ariel is a well-respected belly dancer in the Washington, DC, and Baltimore metro areas. She studies and performs many belly dance styles, including American Tribal Style (ATS), Turkish Romani, American Cabaret, and Egyptian orientale.
When dancing as a fusion dancer, she incorporates other dance styles, including popping, strobing, jazz, flamenco, and yoga. She has over a decade of theater experience and training. Her performances have been described as captivating, lively, innovative, and soulful.
Ariel performs regularly in the Washington, DC and Baltimore areas, working with live and recorded music. She often uses zills (finger cymbals), assaya (cane), veil, or sword to accompany her performances.
