Shakra

Shakra was fused together in the summer of 2004 by a passion for dance experimentation and a desire to deviate from the norm.

We have all studied a variety of western and world dances, pulling from them the movements and concepts that inspire us.

We combine, revise and twist these pieces together to form an expressive and unconventional fusion style that is constantly developing and evolving.

We strive to be unique and use innovative choreographies to tell the stories we discover in the powerful music we love. Members include Na’la, Hilary & Abby.
